Cauliflower BBQ Wings

Cauliflower Wings are perfect as an appetizer with friends or as part of your main meal for dinner with potato wedges. This dish is deceivingly filling, while being low in fat and calories.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk – unsweetened (or water*)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 head of cauliflower – chopped
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C)
  2. Mix flour, garlic powder, and black pepper in bowl
  3. Slowly mix in almond milk and whisk until smooth with no lumps
  4. Add cauliflower pieces to bowl and cover with flour mixture
  5. Place on baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes (turning halfway through)
  6. Mix BBQ sauce and oil in a medium bowl
  7. When the cauliflower is done baking put the pieces in the bowl with BBQ sauce and mix until covered
  8. Bake for another 5-8 minutes
